About the Trust
We provide mental health and learning disability care for people across Norfolk and Suffolk. We support a population of just over 1.6 million people and employ more than 4,700 staff.
Our biggest bases are at Hellesdon Hospital, Norwich, Wedgwood House, Bury St Edmunds and Woodlands Unit in Ipswich but our staff are based in more than 50 locations.
What you'll be responsible for:
- General administration on clinical systems for confidential patient information
- Answering telephone calls
- Meeting and greeting ward visitors
- Taking part in general organisation of the ward information displays
You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You'll have the following skills/experience:
- Excellent communication skills
- Microsoft office skills
- Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Previous admin experience
- Previous NHS experience

Duties:
- Coordinate and manage various projects within the clinic
- Provide administrative support to the dental office
- Perform clerical tasks such as data entry and filing
- Manage office supplies and inventory
- Serve as a medical receptionist, greeting patients and scheduling appointments
- Utilize Google Suite to organize and maintain documents and calendars
- Assist with proofreading and editing documents
- Act as a personal assistant to the clinic administrator
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a dental office or medical setting is preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in clerical tasks such as order entry and data management
- Familiarity with Google Suite or similar software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary contract
Part-time hours: 22.5 per week
Salary:
£12.45 per hour
