We are looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator (UK, Import & Export) to join our existing team.


This is a varied and interesting role in which you will co-ordinate our day-to-day UK logistics function and our import/export operational processes.

You will be liaising with colleagues in purchasing, supply chain, production, warehouse, and finance. You will act as a central point of contact for all logistics, shipping, and customs related activities.


At least 3 years' experience in import / export administration is essential for this role and you must have up-to-date working knowledge of import and export regulations, including a thorough understanding of international customs and paperwork procedures.

In the role your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Plan UK & International shipments based on product availability and customer requirements.
  • Plan and arrange international consignments according to client instructions and requirements by sea freight of both FCL & LCL.
  • Handle cross trade shipments.
  • Liaise with customers, shipping lines, and other stakeholders to ensure that all export shipments are delivered on time and in full, ensuring that all documentation is completed accurately to comply with relevant regulations and legislation.
  • Track customer orders to ensure timely deliveries and communicate late / failed deliveries with supply teams and customer distribution centres.
  • Day to day invoicing and job costing.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • A UK driving licence
