This role involves managing the daily logistics for store deliveries and collection processes, ensuring effective communication of plans to all relevant parties while accurately reflecting this in the operational systems. The successful candidate will undergo comprehensive training. This position operates on a 37.5 hour contract, requiring flexibility across 5 days of the week, including early morning shifts and alternate weekends. Salary is competitive at £27,000.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee all logistics through the planning system, ensuring efficient routing software integration and communication with the business. Coordinate resource requests to maintain accuracy in daily operational needs. Uphold Health & Safety standards on-site, fostering a culture of safety awareness and compliance. Promote STAR reporting to minimize accidents and incidents. Ensure that reports and details are tailored for the intended audience. Maintain financial awareness to maximize profitability through efficient planning. Cultivate customer relationships by ensuring effective communication and promptly addressing issues. Collaborate with the customer team to identify improvements and enhance efficiency. Make informed decisions with a comprehensive understanding of P&L implications, ensuring the team is aware of financial performance. Required Qualifications: Proven track record in achieving operational and service performance aligned with Health and Safety standards and KPIs. Strong planning and prioritization capabilities. Proficient in identifying and reporting operational issues. Ability to drive P&L performance through statistical analysis and quick response. Familiarity with Transport Management systems is advantageous. Operationally focused with a commitment to exceeding expectations. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
