We've grown enormously, particularly in the last 18 months. In 2021 alone, we hand-iced over 3 million biscuits and delivered them to customers all over the world.


As well as our eCommerce business, we have two biscuit boutiques, where we offer 'School of Icing' events, teaching our customers to ice like an expert, while they enjoy a cup of tea or coffee or even a glass of Prosecco.

We also work with a wide range of corporate clients, creating bespoke and branded designs for every occasion.

We're ambitious and we're looking to build and strengthen our wonderful team as the business continues to grow.

Who we're looking for


An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Dispatch Team as a
Corporate
Dispatch Team Leader, as a key part of our team you will report to the Fulfilment and Warehouse Manager.

This role is for 37.5 hours per week, mainly 8.30am-5.00pm with weekend working on a rotational basis. At peak times flexibility is required to work between 7am-7pm and across weekends.

This role will involve
Reporting to the Head of Fulfilment with a link to the Corporate Project Manager, this role will involve:

  • Responsible for processing corporate orders end-to-end including ensuring all customer data
is up to date and accurate.

  • Coordinate and oversee Unit 2 Corporate warehouse logistics including corporate finished product, third party goods & packaging.
  • Ensuring all orders are booked into the system to allow dispatch to process and pack the orders.
  • Forward planning with the full visibility of corporate dispatch dates.
  • Being the link between Dispatch and corporate team.
  • Assisting with other duties within dispatch (e.g. packing orders and admin duties) when required.
  • Be instrumental in the development and future proofing of your team and processes, deliver training as required.
  • Identify and implement improvements that enable the dispatch process to be more efficient.
  • Lead Monthly stock takes & various line checks, delegating resource & ensuring stock is organised and prepared and report any challenges on stock to Purchasing Manager.
  • Ensure appropriate and constructive communication with Management teams relating to all aspects of dispatch.

What you will need

  • To be able to work fulltime (37.5 hours per week) between the hours of 7am and 7pm, and flexibly across weekends.
  • Good experience (preferably 1+ years) working in a supervisory distribution or warehouse position.
  • A handson natural leader who can lead by example and be an excellent communicator, confident and assertive.
  • To ensure compliance with Food Safety and Health & Safety policies to all members of staff.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with all team members.
  • To be computer literate, including strong Excel skills.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and use initiative.
  • A cando attitude and able to perform physical duties.
  • A love of biscuits is a must
