Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatch Allocator to join our team at Newrest London Gatwick. As a Dispatch Allocator, you will be responsible for ensuring that all inbound flights are catered and departing flights are catered in a timely manner, while also meeting current Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure off-dock schedules are met.
- Ensure all inbound flights are decatered and departing flights are catered in time to meet current SLAs.
- Liaise with Airlines and their handling agents to ensure all departure times and current SLAs are met.
- Ensure block plans are checked and updated for the following day/week's flights.
- Ensure block plans are followed and updated, and Driver and TSA teams are allocated to meet departure times and SLAs.
- Ensure all dispatch documentation follows CAA and DFT regulations.
- Ensure the correct vehicles are allocated for the correct requirement.
- Print tickets when out-of-hours aircraft or flight changes occur.
- Liaise with all departments in the event of aircraft or flight changes.
- Constant communication with Airlines and their handling agents.
- Complete full and clear Operational logs.
- Ensure all products and equipment meet the required standard before leaving the unit.
- Ensure COSHH and HACCP regulations are adhered to at all times.
- Adhere to COVID-19 measures.
- Adhere to in-flight services security compliance.
- Carry out vehicle security searches in accordance with both CAA and DfT regulations.
- Support other departments and teams when and where required to maintain production/dispatch schedules.
- Adhere to in-flight services security compliance.
- Adhere to clean-as-you-go standards.
- Interact with colleagues, customers, and clients in a professional manner at all times.
- Comply with all unit Corporate, Social, Responsibility initiatives.
- Perform any other duties as requested by your manager.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year's experience in catering (desirable).
- Excellent communication, team work, and customer service skills.
- Good literacy skills, verbal, written, and spoken.
