Job Title: Dispatch Allocator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatch Allocator to join our team at Newrest London Gatwick. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient dispatch of flights, managing schedules, and coordinating with airline and handling agents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage off-dock schedules to ensure timely departures and arrivals.
- Coordinate with airlines and handling agents to meet current SLA's.
- Update and maintain block plans for daily and weekly flights.
- Allocate drivers and TSA teams to meet departure times and SLA's.
- Ensure all dispatch documentation complies with CAA and DFT regulations.
- Coordinate with all departments in the event of aircraft or flight changes.
- Communicate with airlines and handling agents to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate operational logs and ensure all products and equipment meet required standards.
- Adhere to COSHH and HACCP regulations at all times.
- Support other departments and teams as needed to maintain production/dispatch schedule.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year's experience in catering (desirable).
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
- Good literacy skills, verbal, written, and spoken.
