Glaize is a London-based venture-backed D2C start-up that's on a mission to reinvent nail care through technology and science by making manicures easier, faster and greener.
We just launched, are growing fast and are looking for an energetic, diligent and smart operations and fulfilment associate.
Your role in all of this? You will work closely with the small but mighty Glaize team to ensure all aspects of our supply chain, product manufacturing and order fulfilment run smoothly both operationally and technically, with the aim of building our infrastructure, driving conversion, and scaling it globally.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Continue building our core fulfilment functions
- Manage our orders (via Shopify) and fulfilment of orders (involving using a laser cutter to customise each order)
- Overlook and optimise our fulfilment space in London
Ideally you will have:
- Processing customer orders and logging despatches and deliveries on the stock system
- Managing despatch and fulfilment requests within set timelines
- Assistance with warehousebased activity, regular stock checks/inspections, quality and order checking
- Creating regular reports and management updates
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize and work under tight deadlines and appropriately prioritize workload
- Experience working under mínimal supervision
Required knowledge and skills
- Friendly and professional manner in dealing with customers
- Ability to cooperate successfully with fellow staff at all levels
- Experience in the use of Word and Excel. Full training will be given in all other systems required
- Willingness to adapt to a changing role, including recognising that significant periods may be spent in both office and warehouse duties
