We are seeking an experienced
Senior Events Sales Executive to join
us and its brilliant team of hospitality enthusiasts

THE ROLE
The Senior Events Sales Executive will be responsible for efficiently handling all meeting and event inquiries and bookings.

The Senior Events Sales Executive will communicate with both our customers and the hotel operational departments to provide a seamless service.

The role will also form important relationships with regular and repeat customers, assisting them with their inquiries as needed.

THE TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive and follow up on events enquiries to achieve targets.
  • Fully understand the needs of the client and strive to exceed those expectations at all times.
  • Deliver show rounds whilst telling the hotel stories to clients.
  • Conduct detailed and organised appointments.
  • Create detailed BEO function sheets for all functions events, and issue them on a weekly basis.
  • Join the weekly function sheet meetings with all departments.
  • Liaise build good working relationships with all departments and external suppliers.
  • Maximise sales revenue by converting business and upselling.
  • To ensure the booking system, including space held and client information, are in good order and up to date.
  • To ensure deposit payments are paid and received as per contract terms and conditions.
  • Participate in hotel promotional activities
  • Ensure a smooth operation organisation of events from enquiry to planning, through to handing over to the operational team.
  • Postevent, post extra charges if required and conduct client followup to obtain feedback and encourage repeat business.
  • Resolve any disputes and complaints in a professional manner and within the guidelines issued. Feedback all comments to relevant departments and request further and repeat business.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR FROM YOU

  • Previous experience in a similar role (Minimum of 2 years within the hotel industry).
  • Working knowledge of Opera Delphi (desirable).
  • An outgoing and confident personality with the ability to work independently as well as part of a busy sales team.
  • Be standardsdriven and detailorientated with the ability to organise and plan ahead.
  • Ability to multitask and make sound decisions in a fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong problemsolving skills with a positive cando attitude.
  • You can adapt to all situation types, keeping calm and collected.
  • Computer skills.
