The shift pattern or this position is Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00.

Maintenance Assistant - Band 2

(37.5 hours per week - Day Shift - Mon to Fri)

Salary - Band 2 (£23,362.00 to £25,368.00)


An exciting opportunity has become available for a self-motivated individual with a basic knowledge and understanding and willingness to learn and develop skills necessary to undertake a range of duties relating to engineering, plumbing, building services, related infrastructures and cleaning procedures within the remit of the Estates Department, Vale of Leven Hospital.


You will be based at Vale of Leven Hospital and will be required to work on all sites and properties within the remit of department as routinely required.


The department role is to provide a safe, effective and efficient estates service to support clinical and administration activities within Healthcare and Acute Hospital Facilities.


You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing planned and breakdown maintenance and repair services in relation to all aspects of engineering and building services, plant and equipment.

A current full UK Drivers Licence for category 'B' class of vehicle is essential.


On occasion you may be required to work un-scheduled overtime or unsocial hours to undertake and or complete emergency repairs to ensure continuity of service.
