About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at the VOL Renal Dialysis Unit (RDU) in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care and support to patients undergoing haemodialysis treatment.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of the dialysis unit, ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients.
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, working closely with the renal team.
What You'll Need:
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in renal services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the service.
- Basic knowledge of renal disease and treatment options, with a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
