Ramsey Day Nursery are looking for bank staff to cover staff holidays/sickness.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with prior commitments looking to fit work around these or for someone who would like to work varied hours.


Main responsibilities:

  • To support the room leader in the nursery.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor at all times
  • Provide engaging and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age.
  • Report any child safeguarding or protection matters, including allegations and serious accidents/injuries to management
  • Provide the allaround daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development

Requirements and skills:

  • Fluent in written and spoken English essential
  • Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements desirable
