Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive, highly motivated, and passionate individual with expert Critical Care nursing skills to become part of the Education Team in Critical Care at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities

The post holder will be required to educate and develop a team of staff, and role model the development of compassionate nursing skills promoting patient safety within the unit. The post holder needs to demonstrate the Trust's values and promote team working within the Unit and cross-site with the wider role consisting of educator days.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have recent Critical Care experience (minimum 2 years) and be able to support less experienced staff. They will be able to deliver high specialist care and have excellent leadership and motivational skills. The post holder will also be required to educate and support learners to a high standard.

Person Specification

Education and Qualification

  • Registered General Nurse
  • Critical Care Course
  • Mentorship or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Related degree/Level 6 study

Experience

  • Recent Critical care experience (minimum 2 years)
  • Ability to support less experienced staff
  • Able to deliver high specialist care
