This role offers anexcellent opportunity to establish yourself in the leisure marine industry. Are you an energetic and enthusiastic self-starter seeking a rewarding sales role in the marine industry? Our client, a leading specialist rope manufacturer, is looking for a Field Sales Executive to join their team.Responsibilities:
- Visit chandlers, rigging outfits, and original equipment manufacturers on the road.
- Sell premium ropes to new and existing customers within the Leisure Marine sector.
- Develop strong relationships with clients through in-person visits and phone communication.
- Represent our client in key UK sailing locations across South, Southwest, and East England.
- Conduct direct sales from a fully stocked van and facilitate order taking for factory delivery.
Must-Have Competencies:
- Active involvement in sailing, windsurfing, or kite surfing.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and passionate about the marine industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in person and over the phone.
- Proven ability to generate and maintain strong commercial relationships.
- Capacity to work independently with a high level of initiative.
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Clean driving license.
- Flexibility to travel and stay away from home when visiting clients.
- Eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
- Previous experience in the leisure marine industry.
- Prior sales experience; however, personality, enthusiasm, and tenacity are paramount.
- Competitive basic salary supplemented with monthly bonuses based on sales targets.
- Provision of a company laptop, mobile phone, and van.
