Job Summary

The ability to speak Welsh is necessary for this position. A great opportunity to join our active Non-Emergency Transport Call Centre has become available. This role involves providing non-emergency transport for patients to and from medical facilities, serving as a crucial connection between communities and the healthcare system in Wales.

The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, teamwork experience, excellent communication skills, and ideally, prior experience in a customer-focused environment.

We have permanent positions available at our South Wales sites in Cwmbran and Swansea. The successful candidate will work on a rotating basis to meet service demands.

Main Duties of the Job

The successful candidate will handle telephone inquiries from patients and hospitals related to non-emergency ambulance transport. This includes assessing the most suitable transport method for patients, inputting requests accurately, and providing support to department teams within the NEPTS.

The role requires swift and accurate data entry skills. Good interpersonal skills, education to a good standard, and proficient typing skills are essential for this position.

A good knowledge of Welsh geographical areas would be beneficial, and fluency in Welsh is essential for these roles.
