Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service team as a Medical Call Taker. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our transport services.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will be responsible for processing telephone calls from patients and hospitals, assessing transport requests, and accurately inputting details onto our computer system.

A good knowledge of the geographical areas of Wales is essential, and the ability to converse in the Welsh language is also required. The successful applicant will be expected to work a 37.5 hour permanent contract, with flexibility to cover hours between weekdays on a rota basis.

Main Duties
  1. Process telephone calls from patients and hospitals, assessing transport requests and accurately inputting details onto our computer system.
  2. Work effectively in a team environment to ensure the smooth operation of our transport services.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and hospital staff, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  4. Converse in the Welsh language, as required, to communicate with patients and hospital staff.
