About the role
Fleet Assistant
As THE OUT grows, so does our fleet and operational teams in London.
We are looking for people who want to be part of a fast growing start up, working with premium cars and helping to improve, and scale operations at THE OUT.
Each car being in pristine condition before delivery is a core element of our service. As a Fleet Assistant we want you to do more than complete repetitive tasks. We want you to take ownership and proactively help manage our fleet and drivers. Cars leaving our car park on-time, in perfect condition and fitted with the right extras is the bare minimum.You'll be fully trained to ensure that you're comfortable with the expected service levels.
That way you are ready to go above and beyond and deliver a level of service that reflects our brand.
Key tasks and responsibilities
- Ensure cars are in immaculate condition
- Provide an excellent quality service to all our customers
- Support ontime delivery and collection of cars
- Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company standards
- Operating buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment to meet service expectations
- Perform inspections and keep complete, accurate records of the vehicle's condition
- Move and park vehicles, deliver vehicles to correct locations
- Manage inventory and reorder supplies
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver operational priorities in line with overall business goal
Requirements:
- Is passionate and knowledgeable about cars
- Has a passion to provide exceptional customer service with the confidence to lead from the front
- Is a natural team player always reliable, displaying genuine commitment to the business, communicates openly and with confidence, respects others
- Has excellent organisational skills to cope with a fastchanging environment and multiple concurrent tasks
- Has energy, positivity, and confidence even in dealing with difficult situations and conversations
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Ownership of a clean GB or EU driving licence held for a minimum of 24 months
- Is flexible to work shifts including weekends and Bank Holidays
