Your role – Marketing & BD Director

The Marketing & BD Director reports to the Managing Partner and contributes to the visibility and success of Adamson & Partners internationally. You are responsible for the definition and implementation of all BD and Marketing strategies. A true partner of our Consultants, you also work in close collaboration with members of our support functions based in our London and Munich offices to define and implement Marketing and BD actions in an optimised and efficient manner.

Your Responsibilities

  • Ownership of Marketing/BD budget & spend for the company
  • Coordinate all marketing and branding activities, such as client presentations and other documents
  • Manage company's website & social media channels, including content creation, posting, and community engagement
  • Work with Partners to ensure that A&P's insight, thought leadership and marketing campaigns are properly targeted & driven
  • Contribute to the creation of Business Plans and define with Consultants the Marketing/BD action plans.
  • Define strategies for launching new offers and package service offers
  • Organise client events and manage attendance at conferences
  • Support consultants in establishing and monitoring relationships with their strategic/priority clients and key contacts. Promote cross selling/penetration within customer accounts and organise road shows
  • Redefine the processes and tools linked to pitches / RFPs. Coordinate responses to calls for tenders and produce commercial proposals (pitches) in English and German
  • Coordinate/carry out competitive intelligence on various markets and customers, in order to adjust planned actions and identify commercial opportunities
  • Be responsible for monitoring processes (submissions, pitches, etc.) and ensure the proper use of tools (entry of contacts and commercial information into CRM tools, etc.)

Required profile

  • Experience of working within the IP or broader Legal sectors, in a Marketing capacity.
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills, you are diplomatic and appreciate teamwork.
  • You are organised, rigorous and proactive.
  • You are analytical and a creative thinker
  • You have the ability to manage several projects at once and enjoy training and mentoring.
  • Your ability to adapt and your motivation will allow you to fully succeed in this role.

Your prerequisites

  • You have higher education in marketing (business school or university) and/or law, and have 6 - 9 years of experience in a similar position within a managed services or business law firm environment.
  • You have excellent writing skills in English. Additional French or German language skills would be considered advantageous.
