The Senior Director Europe will be responsible for leading the direct and indirect channel in the European Region, reporting directly to the Vice President, International region. The primary focus will be to increase market share and profitability in the region across the Intrusion portfolio, driving expansion and growth in challenging markets with a metro-market strategy and leading a significant employee team.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of success in sales and operational management in a multi-faceted business, with demonstrable experience in commercializing products and designing go-to-market strategies. They will be technically proficient in the Security Product industry and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build collaborative relationships across business areas to gain trust.
The Senior Director Europe will work closely with other channel and product leaders across the organization to identify market opportunities and engage with the commercial excellence teams to deliver jointly managed commercial integration with other JCI business units. They will be an entrepreneurial leader, commercially astute and technically proficient in building teams throughout the security products sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the direct and indirect channel in the European Region
- Drive expansion and growth in challenging markets with a metro-market strategy
- Build organizational capacity fostering sales and operational excellence
- Leverage strategic accounts and partner networks to improve market penetration
- Provide critical leadership helping to define the strategy and drive profitable volume growth
- Work closely with other channel and product leaders to identify market opportunities
- Engage with commercial excellence teams to deliver jointly managed commercial integration
Requirements
- Progressive responsibility for sales and operational management in a multi-faceted business
- Demonstrable track record of success in the region
- Knowledge of commercializing a product – ability to design go-to-market strategies
- Technically proficient in the Security Product industry
- Ability to build collaborative relationships across business areas
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Recent experience of working at a leadership level in the European region
- Extensive experience leading a team of senior managers or 2nd tier leadership experience
- Experience of overseeing multiple functions, especially sales & operations
- Commercially astute with knowledge of contractual agreement within a sales environment
