What you will be doing Collaboration with 100+ partner organizations in Scotland for procurement advice using SPA products and Added Value Services.- Ensure compliance with public sector procurement laws and provide guidance to colleagues, partners, and appointed firms.- Develop and promote in-depth knowledge of SPA's procurement solutions to diverse stakeholders.- Provide training and support to stakeholders on procurement, framework utilization, legislation compliance, and amendments.- Contribute to pre-tender engagement and regional tender evaluation activities in collaboration with SPA and LHC colleagues.- Offer comprehensive procurement services to SPA partners, including advice, guidance, and support for procurement decisions.- Manage projects from registration to formal contract award with efficient project management.- Oversee SPA's Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) by engaging new appointed companies and enhancing partner offerings.- Maintain clear audit trail for all procurement activities to ensure transparency and accountability.- Represent SPA at various internal and external events, including 'Meet the Buyer' events, product launches, workshops, and conferences.


What you need- Previous experience in regulated procurement of goods and/or services for public sector organizations, along with knowledge of public sector procurement practices and regulations in Scotland.- A degree or vocational qualification (or equivalent experience) and accreditation as MCIPS or working towards it (CIPS Level 4 or above).- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a procurement environment, preferably in a public sector or housing context.

Knowledge of Microsoft BI and/or SAGE CRM is advantageous, as is additional familiarity with the public sector.- Strong interpersonal skills, both in-person and over the phone; adept at managing one's schedule and working independently; proficient in using IT systems for information management; excellent organizational and time management skills; high attention to detail; ability to work under pressure and produce results; good commercial skills; strong numeracy and analytical ability.- High motivation and drive; positive and supportive attitude; enjoys challenges; effective team player; can work independently with mínimal supervision; problem-solving skills with the ability to provide workable solutions.
