**Procurement Officer**

**Based in Livingston (Hybrid)**

**£14.25 - £14.50 per hour + holiday pay**
- 40 hours per week (Paid lunches)
- Hybrid working
- Immediate start

**Key responsibilities:**
- Working closely with Site Managers to understand requirements for business materials and plant hire
- Communicating with agreed list of suppliers to source required materials
- Ensuring a quick turnaround on requests from sites
- Providing list of requirements and costs to subcontractors
- In some instances, negotiating the best deal possible with suppliers
- Processing work on Xero
- Providing reports to Operations Manager
- Possibly visiting sites
- Ad hoc work when required

**What we're looking for:**
- Previous experience working in a Procurement or Purchasing role
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail, particularly with costs and figures
- Ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure

**Desirable:**
- Previous experience working with XERO
- Previous experience in the Construction sector
