HR & Facilities Administrator

Office Based, Flexible Hours Contract (initially 10-15 hrs per week with potential to grow)

Salary:
£ £13.85 per hr (dependent on experience) + benefits

The company is a robotics company based in Yate that makes equipment for the Film and TV Industry.

Our products are used to make feature films and wildlife documentaries, and for the filming of live sports, music broadcasts and other events.


The company is privately owned with a fun and positive working culture, and we're looking for someone to help keep our office and HR/H&S functions running smoothly.

We're still small enough for everyone to be treated as an individual and be fully supported in their work.


There is flexibility around working hours, and someone looking for work to fit around the school day or other time limitations would be welcomed.


You will work under direction from our COO and will be further supported by our external HR & H&S consultants.

Training will be offered where required.

Personal Specification

  • Appropriate GCSEs, BTECs or equivalent in English and Maths
  • 2x years solid relevant office experience.
  • Strong IT literacy
  • Knowledge and understanding of office H&S and HR beneficial, but not essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal/written communication.
  • Selfmotivating and resourceful, with time management skills to organise and prioritise.

Responsibilities:

  • Organise and maintain the office & supplies.
  • Answering the main telephone and relaying messages.
  • General admin to include travel bookings, insurance claims, company car records etc.
  • H&S admin to include; managing H&S checks across fire / first aid / risk assessments, ensuring H&S policies are observed by office staff and visitors.
  • HR admin to include diarising and documenting appraisals, circulating staff notices, updating our HR database; holiday, training, absence records etc.
  • Managing the administration of recruitment, training, induction & onboarding of new employees.
  • Update processes & procedures in line with legislation changes (with guidance from our consultants).
