Located in Inverness in the beautiful Scottish Highlands, Daviot Care Home offers high-quality nursing care for residents dealing with general frailty, as well as specialized units for those with dementia and mental health conditions.
Our mentorship program and continuous learning opportunities will provide you with the necessary support to enhance your skills and advance in your career, whether you aim to become a Senior Care Assistant or a Senior Care Practitioner—it's up to you.
If you're not currently employed as a care assistant, you will need to register with the SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council), and Meallmore will guide you through the process.
Your responsibilities as a Meallmore Care Assistant will include:
- To deliver high-quality care and support based on individual care plans.
- To help cultivate a sense of well-being in a caring environment and participate in home activities.
- To comply with Meallmore Standards, Policies, Procedures, and National Care Standards.
- To adhere to the SSSC codes of Practice.
- To collaborate with care staff within your department and across teams.
- To carry out personal care tasks.
Desired qualifications and skills:
- Working towards meeting SSSC registration requirements.
- SVQ level 2 or higher/equivalent in Health and Social Care (in accordance with SSSC guidelines) preferred.
- Strong communication and rapport-building abilities.
- Nurturing and compassionate nature.
