Job Description

Your role:

As a Senior Producer on the team, your main responsibility will be to ensure the successful delivery and implementation of NUK events, reporting directly to the Head of Event Production.


This position is crucial in supporting our various titles and bringing our brands to life, by developing top-notch content initiatives that align with our editorial and marketing goals.


What you'll be doing on a daily basis:
- Take charge of all event logistics within your scope.

Collaborate closely with the entire News Live squad, ensuring high levels of both internal and external client satisfaction while meeting agreed-upon KPIs and stakeholder expectations.

Work alongside the Head of Event Production to shape and enhance our events strategy across different titles, while ensuring an outstanding customer experience

- Lead the planning and execution of major events in the NewsUK portfolio, such as conferences, award ceremonies, experiential events, and meetings

- Identify and address the diverse objectives across the organization, devising and executing plans to achieve these goals

- Develop and implement event strategies for stakeholders, working hand in hand with internal teams to stay on budget and on schedule

- Meet KPIs established by Commercial, Marketing, and Editorial teams, overseeing their successful achievement

- Manage financial forecasting, billing, and procedures, maintaining tight control over department expenses and accounts reconciliation

- Supervise stakeholder budgets, tracking ROI effectively

- Create event proposals as part of comprehensive responses to advertiser briefs

- Collaborate with internal departments to secure support for event initiatives, maximizing their impact

Key requirements:
• Demonstrated track record in events management, with experience handling multiple events concurrently, each with distinct goals and KPIs

• Proven ability in leading project teams, overseeing recruitment processes, and fostering a positive team environment

• Proficiency in overseeing content creation and programming

• Strong grasp of event marketing and audience engagement/customer experience

• Knowledge of the operational aspects involved in organizing large-scale events and experiential activities

• Flexibility to travel, and availability for weekend and evening work
