About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Events Producer to join our Events team at Enable.

Enable is a charity dedicated to improving people's wellbeing and strengthening local communities. We work with councils, charities, and other local organisations to deliver health, leisure, community services, and events that enrich people's lives and strengthen our local community.

As a Senior Events Producer, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of Enable's diverse Events programme, including music concerts, community festivals, indoor and outdoor theatre, cultural celebrations, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of Enable's Events programme, including research, development, design, production, and delivery of new events.
  • Oversee all events produced by the Production Team, ensuring they meet Enable's high standards.
  • Work closely with the Head of Events on the growth strategy linked to Enable's self-produced events.
  • Plan and manage budgets, source new suppliers, negotiate contracts, and identify new revenue and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Produce all relevant production paperwork, including site plans, event management plans, safety and emergency plans.
  • Ensure all events are fully staffed and staff are fully briefed.
  • Liaise with statutory and Council services, contractors, and suppliers for the delivery of event productions.
  • Act as the appointed site manager and assist with the physical set up and dismantling of events.
  • Line manage Senior Events Production Managers, Events Managers, and other team members.
  • Achieve targeted income set by the Head of Events.
  • Monthly reconciliation of the Detailed Transaction Report.
  • Collate and review all contractor H&S documentation.
Requirements
  • Proven experience of producing and delivering medium to large commercially successful public outdoor events.
  • Confidence and experience in running large scale events sites, leading on all operations, and thinking on your feet.
  • Excellent budget skills and a keen understanding of creating commercially successful events.
  • Confidence in producing all relevant production paperwork, including site plans, event safety management plans, RAMS, production schedules, and briefing documents.
  • Experience of booking artists/performers and sourcing event infrastructure.
  • Passion for creating events to entertain a wide-ranging audience and diverse community.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in writing, by telephone, or face-to-face with senior management, other staff, clients, and members of the public.
  • Hands-on/proactive onsite and pride yourself on going the extra mile to create the best event possible.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience with Xero or other accounting software.
