Senior Events Producer

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Events Producer to join our Events team at Enable.

Enable is a charity dedicated to improving people's wellbeing and strengthening local communities. We work with councils, charities, and other local organisations to deliver health, leisure, community services, and events that enrich people's lives and strengthen our local community.

As a Senior Events Producer, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of Enable's diverse Events programme, including music concerts, community festivals, indoor and outdoor theatre, cultural celebrations, and more. You will also be responsible for team management and mentoring less experienced event managers.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in running large-scale events, managing budgets, and multiple project timelines. You will be passionate about creating events to entertain a wide-ranging and diverse audience and have excellent communication skills.

The role will require schedule flexibility and the ability to work weekends, early mornings, and late nights. You will be responsible for ensuring all events are fully staffed and staff are fully briefed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the delivery of Enable's diverse Events programme
  • Team management and mentoring less experienced event managers
  • Research, develop, and design new events as part of Enable's growth strategy
  • Ensure all events are fully staffed and staff are fully briefed
  • Liaise with statutory/Council services and contractors for the delivery of event productions
  • Act as the appointed site manager and assist with the physical set up and dismantling of events
  • Line management of Senior Events Production Managers, Events Managers, and other team members
  • Monthly reconciliation of the Detailed Transaction Report
Requirements:
  • Proven and demonstrable experience of producing and delivering medium to large commercially successful public outdoor events
  • Confidence and experience in running large-scale events sites, leading on all operations, and being able to think on your feet
  • Excellent budget skills and a keen understanding of creating commercially successful events
  • Confidence in producing all relevant production paperwork, including site plans, event safety management plans, RAMS, production schedules, and briefing documents
  • Experience of booking artists/performers and sourcing event infrastructure
  • Passion for creating events to entertain a wide-ranging audience and diverse community
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in writing, by telephone, or face-to-face with senior management, other staff, clients, and members of the public
  • Hands-on/proactive onsite and pride yourself on going the extra mile to create the best event possible
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience with Xero or other accounting software
