The Product and Delivery team at NBCUniversal is on a mission to successfully bring new business opportunities and enhancements to our International Networks and Direct to Consumer (D2C) divisions. From managing media operations to deploying business systems, our team excels at executing end-to-end workflow solutions.
We are looking for an Implementation Manager to join our crew, someone who will take the lead on both linear and non-linear service implementation and enhancements for our International Networks and D2C divisions. This role involves owning solution design and overseeing necessary implementation changes.
Responsibilities:- Lead and drive solution design, technical delivery, and implementation for International Media Operations initiatives.
- Develop a roadmap for new client onboarding and project implementations across NBCU International Networks and D2C divisions.
- Collaborate with Product and Delivery team members to contribute to project planning and estimation for new business projects.
- Act as an advisor and consultant to the Director, Product, and the IMO leadership team on important decisions.
- Manage a team of Implementation Analysts to execute business projects effectively.
- Create Product deliverables and reliability metrics, keeping stakeholders informed regularly.
- Assist in implementing agile and lean methodologies within the Product team to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Define technical requirements for our engineering partners.
- Ensure project/product documentation adheres to best practices.
- Oversee testing and release of implementation changes for business projects.
- Collaborate with other Product team members to prioritize development work and ensure business needs are met.
- Produce user-friendly documentation for new implementations to aid in understanding and troubleshooting.
- Provide system configuration in partnership with the Product Manager to meet project requirements.
- Guide the successful implementation and rollout of new services and workflows, offering support to end-users and operations during project transitions.
- Educate teams in International Media Operations and across the business on new solutions post-implementation.
Some international travel may be required.
QualificationsSkills & Experience:
- Degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience preferred.
- 5+ years' experience demonstrating strong technical, analytical, and quantitative skills.
- 5+ years' experience with exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Significant expertise in broadcast and media workflows, particularly Linear TV, VOD, and OTT service implementation.
- Ability to create and discuss technical diagrams with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in research, technical writing, and developing user stories.
Other Skills:
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and experience with Agile methodologies.
- Ability to balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail.
- Understanding of integration principles and designing efficient solutions.
- Strategic mindset to deliver innovative end-to-end solutions for business requirements.
- Experience with release testing and test case creation.
- Proactive with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to articulate complex solutions to business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with broadcast media systems and channel management.
- Experience with data visualization frameworks like Microsoft PowerBi.
