There are two types of shift pattern.
-
Pattern A _
  • A single 10hr shift working a mixture of Saturdays or Sundays (1 day a week).
The shift times will be a mixture of 7am-6pm and 11am-10pm.
-
Pattern B_ - 2 x 5hrs shifts working both Saturday
and Sunday (2 days a week).

The shift times will be a mixture of 7am-12pm / 12pm-5pm / 5pm-10pm.


We are a Northampton based breakdown insurance company seeking a part time telephone operator / controller / administrator working 10 hours per week exclusively at the weekend.

The role will involve dealing with members of the public and assisting them with their vehicle breakdowns. As well as motor vehicles, we assist members who have broken down with their Mobility Scooters and Powered Wheelchairs. You will also assist members with policy adjustments as well as renew policies and set up new member policies. For this role the individual will need to be caring and compassionate and to understand the customers needs. Full training will be provided. The times you start and finish your shift will vary. Above are the current different shift types that you may be required to work. However, these patterns may change to better suit business needs.

You will be required to be able to work any of the shift types outlined above.

This job role requires, but is not limited to, the following essential criteria:

  • Providing our members with the highest level of customer service and professionalism.
  • Complete tasks set by supervisors and other levels of management.
  • Good attendance and a caring attitude is essential.
  • Work well under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Will be confident and competent using IT systems and telephone systems.
  • Maintaining high call quality that meets the required standard for this role. Calls are monitored and graded monthly and a call quality score will be generated each month.
