Key Responsibilities:- Manage a small team of hire controllers and be involved in equipment sales and hires.
- Deal with customer site enquiries over the phone and via email, arranging the on and off hire of machinery.
- Cover for the manager and senior team, ensuring all tasks and functions run as normal.
- Chase up all quotes or enquiries to maximise business and gain any additional hire opportunities.
- Previous experience working as an Office Manager, Office Supervisor, Office Team Leader, Hire Manager, or similar.
- Knowledge of the hire industry, including Heavy Plant, Accommodation Hire, Vehicle Hire, Generator Hire, HVAC, Powered Access, Tools, or Plant Hire.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- A friendly working environment with no weekend work.
- Salary up to £34k DOE.
