Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Northampton General Hospital. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the Pharmacy Dispensary and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Main Duties- Accurately and promptly dispense prescriptions for in-patients, out-patients, day-patients, and leave/discharge patients.
- Issue dispensed medicines to patients and confirm that they know how to use them.
- Supply Controlled Drugs and maintain accurate records.
- Undertake final-checking according to a defined policy when competence has been proven.
- Undertake Enhanced Patient Counselling following appropriate training.
- Participate in the late-night and weekend service provided by the Dispensary department.
