Williams Lea HR team seeks a part time HR Advisor to join our team

Purpose of role


This role plays a critical part in employee engagement at Williams Lea, working with the wider HR team to support managers and employees with employment issues ranging from DE&I, wellbeing and employee relations.

Overall aim of the role

  • Provide support and guidance to resolve employee relations issues approaching matters in a inclusive, fair and compliant way
  • Lead on employee consultations related to TUPE and business changes
  • Support manages and employees to ensure Williams Lea are delivering the highest levels of service to our clients
  • Participate in Williams Lea HR initiatives including Wellbeing, DE&I, Engagement and Talent Planning
Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Engagement
  • Collaborate with the wider HR team to implement initiatives that enhance employee engagement and job satisfaction


Employee Consultation
  • Offer guidance to employees on HR related matters, including policies, benefits, career development and performance management. Support and guide managers on employees consultations on TUPE and business changes


Performance Management Support
  • Advise managers on effective performance management techniques, including feedback, delivery and performance management.


Employee Wellbeing
  • Support company wellbeing initiatives and provide resources and referrals for employees dealing with personal and work related challenges


Conflict Resolution
  • Act as a primary point of contact for employees seeking resolution for workplace conflicts and concerns. Employ active listening and empathy to understand different perspectives and mediate disputes effectively. Advise and guide managers on policy and employment law issues
  • Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
  • Support Williams Lea's DE&I initiatives. Advise and support managers on creating an inclusive and diverse workplace
