pawaTech Group is looking for an Accounts Payable Manager with an inherent passion for teamwork a collaborative spirit, and a forensic mindset. As an Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable function, including the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. This role also includes treasury-related tasks such as cash flow management and ensuring optimal liquidity. The Accounts Payable Manager will manage a team of accounts payable specialists, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement within the department. The main responsibilities will be:

  • Oversee the end-to-end payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments;
  • Manage daily cash flow and forecasting to ensure adequate liquidity and facilitate bank transactions;
  • Implement and maintain accounts payable policies and procedures while monitoring and reporting on key metrics and KPIs;
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, resolving payment issues and discrepancies efficiently;
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounts payable specialists, conducting performance reviews and providing feedback;
  • Assist in managing banking relationships and support the preparation of cash flow forecasts;
  • Identify training needs and support the continuous development of the accounts payable team.

Key skills and experience for this role:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities;
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Xero) and Microsoft and Google Suite (Excel and Google Sheets required);
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills;
  • Strong leadership and team management skills;
  • Minimum 3 years of accounts payable experience at the managerial level;
  • Experience with international corporate structures and multicurrency operations;
  • Strong communication skills, with experience working within international teams;
  • Knowledge of the French language is beneficial.
