The Sales Manager SM will be responsible for new advisers for the first year of their journey from appointment with Quilter, to their progression into one of the regional teams by attainment of the agreed production targets and competencies as agreed by QFA.


The SM will pick up all the field-based activities with advisers, working alongside the remote based Field Coach Team who hold the T&C responsibilities.


It will be a position attractive to a number of candidates both internal and external, that range from those advisers who are moving towards the end of their career and want to give something back, through those individuals who will see this as a career path opportunity.

Part of the role would be providing locum cover for the Regional Director giving insight and experience into a senior management function.

The Sales Manager holds a key function for the new self-employed Adviser to QFA.

Getting advisers productive in that period is key to an adviser being able to thrive with Quilter by building a strong business.


The role holder responsibilities will include, leading by example, demonstrating, then coaching an adviser through all the key elements to creating the foundations needed.

To that end it is a field-based role.

While we make use of the technology when it is appropriate, it will be time spent in the field with the adviser that will have the most impact, so there will be travel involved, and on occasion this will include overnights due to geography.


As a Sales Manager you have a proven track record of driving results whilst you build and maintain strong relationships throughout the business.

You are a natural negotiator and leader - you're known for your knack for creative problem-solving and your adeptness at resolving conflicts.


As a mentor and coach, you'll play an important role in guiding our team of advisors to success, leveraging your leadership skills to inspire and empower them, helping them reach their full potential.


If you are someone with experience in this field, hold a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning Advice, who values credibility, professionalism, and personal integrity, we welcome you to apply.
