Housekeeper

The Ye Olde Bell Hotel is a well established, four star hotel with 60 bedrooms and numerous large function rooms.

We are currently looking for a housekeeper to join our team.

Working upstairs servicing the rooms and downstairs looking after the public areas. The position is on a zero hours basic. With shifts times varying across the week. Working evening shifts when large functions are scheduled. Applicants must be fully flexible across the 7 day week.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain designated areas, including guest rooms, common areas, and downstairs bathrooms
  • Perform general housekeeping duties such as dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, mopping and changing linens
  • Ensure all rooms are stocked with necessary supplies and amenities
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
  • Follow established cleaning procedures and guidelines to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
  • Adhere to all health & safety and company policies at all times

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Have the physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if necessary
