Purchase Ledger Administrator

Lusona is working exclusively with our client in Glasgow to recruit a Purchase Ledger Administrator to join the busy accounts team of a manufacturing company near Springburn.

This is a full-time, office-based position, 8 am pm.


As the team is very busy, we are looking for someone who has experience in this role and can manage high volumes of work.

You will have a variety of responsibilities which will include:

  • Matching invoices to purchase orders
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Uploading purchase ledger documents onto the accounting system via an escanning system
  • Ensure a timely authorisation of purchase ledger documents
  • Weekly and monthly purchase ledger reporting
  • Ad hoc accounts administration
  • Liaise with suppliers and colleagues to resolve queries


Suitable applicants will come from a similar background, enjoy working within a busy team and helping colleagues when required, have a good knowledge of excel, and be IT literate.

Excellent attention to detail is important as is a high level of accuracy.


Our client offers a basic salary of up to £25K along with a generous benefits package which includes 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, company pension, group life, and a wide variety of employee discounts.

There is also free staff car parking.
