Chef Manager - Oldham, Greater Manchester

We are recruiting for a Chef Manager at The Blue Coat School, Egerton Street, Oldham, OL1 3SQ

Working term time only

Shift times 7:30am - 3:30pm

(42 weeks per year )

Monday to Friday (45 Hours per week),

Salary £32,500

Duties Include:

  • Cooking from our amazing menu from scratch
  • Managing a full kitchen team, ordering produce
  • Responsible for the health and safety
  • Being financially accountable for the unit attaining all financial responsibilities
  • Maintaining a high level of food safety and hygiene compliance

Skills needed:

  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate staff
  • Technical Cooking Skills
  • Ability to work in challenging environments, while maintaining high standards
  • Organisational and administrative skills
  • Food hygiene and food preparation qualifications
  • Proven experience in hospitality, event catering and/or fine dining
