Job Title: Sous Chef

Location: Border of Yorkshire and Lancashire, UK

Type: Part-time (25-30 hours per week)

Working Hours: Monday & Tuesday evenings, Friday & Saturday afternoon/evening, Sundays

Salary: Up to £14 per hour depending on experience

The Role:
As a Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef in preparing and delivering high-quality meals for our guests. You will be instrumental in maintaining our culinary standards and ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience.

Your Responsibilities:

* Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items.

* Maintain high standards of food hygiene and follow health and safety regulations.

* Help in creating menu items and daily specials.

* Ensure the kitchen is clean and organised at all times.

* Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.

* Assist with inventory management and stock control.

* Support the Head Chef in various kitchen duties as needed.

Your Profile:

* Passion for cooking and a keen interest in developing culinary skills.

* Experience in a kitchen environment is preferred

* Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

* Ability to work under pressure and multitask.

* Good communication and teamwork skills.

* Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

* Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
