A talented Sous Chef is required for this award-winning gastro pub set in a beautiful part of Oldham.

The site is set within a beautifully scenic part of the country and offers excellent locally sourced produce used to create a mouth-watering a la carte menu brimming with modern British dishes.

The pub is cosy and rustic, with exposed wooden beams and open fireplaces to create a warm and homely atmosphere.

The kitchen is modern and excellently equipped and the Head Chef, who you will work with closely, leads his team in a calm and collected manner.

They are looking for someone with a passion for their craft who can assist the Head Chef to ensure the high standards are maintained throughout.

As Sous Chef, you will:

  • Assist the Head Chef in managing and leading a professional brigade
  • Be able to lead by example to ensure consistency is filtered throughout the team
  • Have a firm but fair management approach
  • Be a talented and professional Sous Chef to ensure the high expectations are met
  • Be responsible for assisting in overseeing all aspects of this busy kitchen operation ensuring ongoing training and development is offered to all members of the team
  • Possess solid man management and kitchen management skills
