Part of London + Regional Hotels, The Lensbury Resort is located on the Banks of the River Thames at Teddington and is home to an exclusive leisure club, a 155 bedroom hotel, meeting and events space, restaurant and bar, Spa and 25 acres of gardens and grounds.
The Role
Set up function rooms according to the event function sheet/manager's directions Ensure the delivery of exceptional experiences for our customers, through attention to detail and a friendly and professional service Ensure a high quality mise-en-place, including polishing of silverware, glassware etc Attend briefings and meetings as required Ensure adherence to all Health & Safety, Hygiene and Licensing regulations. Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed customer service expectations. Assist with opening and closing down of all food and beverage areas, ensuring areas are ready for service, and are cleaned down at the end of each shift. Carry out duties in all Food & Beverage areas, including Restaurant, Bar, and Member's Louge when requiredWhat's in it for you?

To successfully fill this role, you must possess the following qualifications, attitude, behaviours, skills, and values:
Previous experience in Conference & Banqueting, with an understanding of seating and table plans Relevant experience in bar work is desirable Excellent communication skills with a passion for both food and guest service A methodical approach to work and demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude Excellent customer service skills with a flexible approach to duties Smart standards of personal presentation
