The Lensbury Resort is a premier leisure club, hotel, and conference centre located on the banks of the River Thames in Teddington, south west London.

Our Team

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our F&B team, you will be responsible for ensuring the provision of an outstanding experience for our guests and members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Opening and closing down of F&B outlets, ensuring we are ready for service and everything is cleaned down and secure at the end of each shift
  • Interacting with our customers; taking orders, and providing excellent standards of customer service
  • Upselling and suggesting additional food and beverage items to enhance the guest experience
  • Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Processing payments accurately
  • Adhering to all Health & Safety requirements
  • Liaising with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
  • Preparing garnishes, mixing ingredients, and ensuring proper glassware is used for each drink
  • Staying updated on current food and drink trends and new menu items
  • Carrying out duties in all F&B areas, including Banqueting and Member's Lounge when required

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a waiter/bartender or in a similar role preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service
