The Lensbury Resort is a premier leisure club, hotel, and conference centre located on the banks of the River Thames in Teddington, south west London.

Our Team

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our F&B team, you will be responsible for ensuring the provision of an exceptional experience for our guests and members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Opening and closing down of F&B outlets, ensuring a seamless service and maintaining a clean and secure environment.
  • Interacting with customers, taking orders, and providing excellent standards of customer service.
  • Upselling and suggesting additional food and beverage items to enhance the guest experience.
  • Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Processing payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Adhering to all Health & Safety requirements and protocols.
  • Liaising with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
  • Preparing garnishes, mixing ingredients, and ensuring proper glassware is used for each drink.
  • Staying updated on current food and drink trends and new menu items.
  • Carrying out duties in all F&B areas, including Banqueting and Member's Lounge when required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a waiter/bartender or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service.
