The Development and Alumni team at the University of Central Lancashire is recruiting for a new Trusts and Foundations Officer to fulfil a key element of our ambitious fundraising aspirations. The funds raised through this role’s activity are expected to significantly scale the philanthropic income for the university.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for creating a portfolio of trust and foundations, developing high quality funding propositions, managing strategic relationships and securing major (£50,000+) gifts from a range of trusts and foundations at a regional, national and international level.

We need someone who is able to make a flying start with this currently underdeveloped area. Ideally, a natural problem solver with the ability to work laterally to resolve fundraising challenges across departments. This role will allow you to co-create and lead this income stream strategy, and represents an exciting opportunity for career development.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level, or have equivalent experience and have previous experience of writing successful bids to trusts and foundations.
