Overview of the business:

Human Capital Department are an HR Consultancy providing HR support to SME businesses and HR project support to larger organisations.  

Job Purpose:

To support the directors by providing HR administrative support to the directors and clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Answering telephone calls and providing HR support to clients. For example, preparing employment contracts, employee handbooks, HR policies and procedures using our “HR inform” product as a basis for any documents. Using MS365 to retrieve and store documents and ensuring that any documents are appropriately e-filed. Becoming familiar with e-HR [BreatheHR system] and letting new clients know about this and getting existing clients to get more from the system.  Assisting clients with recruitment as needed. 

The following skills will be developed:

Working alongside the Directors, the participant will gain a detailed understanding of business processes and procedures from a Human Resources perspective.

Working closely with the directors provides the opportunity to learn about the process of HR and support small businesses.  

Skills & Experience:

Some administrative experience desirable. Interest in Human Resource Management.  

Essential Qualifications:

Willingness to obtain a qualification in HR – studied through open learning.
