  • This is an excellent opportunity to take a leading role in defining our external partner strategy that’s aligned to our overall proposition, and commercial and customer objectives
  • You'll be leading the development of our partnership network across payment gateways, PSPs, software platforms and marketplaces to enhance our customer proposition, and deliver new income streams, while ensuring strategic alignment with our brand and long-term vision

    Your role as Partnerships Lead will see you defining and implementing a strategic partnership framework, while running a team of experienced partner managers. You’ll be building our reputation as a digital partner that third parties want to connect to, while developing long term sustainable value and positive customer outcomes through third party products.

    We’ll look to you own and monitor the end-to-end third party customer proposition, experience and performance for the customer journey, as well as delivering the customer journey vision and roadmap for third parties to deliver strong performance and meet our commercial targets.

    Your other key responsibilities will include:

    • Building and nurturing an ecosystem of partners that provide complementary products and services to enhance customer value proposition
    • Developing and executing a comprehensive partnership strategy to engage and onboard partnership opportunities which will provide areas of differentiation to drive innovation and develop new products, services or solutions
    • Collaborating with cross functional teams to execute partnership initiatives, working with key stakeholders including the bank, marketing, sales and product teams to exploit innovation opportunities and then implement and integrate these successfully
    • Monitoring and analysing partnership performance and KPI`s to give strategic direction for future partner opportunities and maximise partnership effectiveness and return to investment
    • Running the integration process for successful partnerships to ensure the delivery of incremental services to our customer baseThe skills you'll need

      We’re looking for someone with a proven track record and experience in owning and managing significant strategic partner relationships providing complex services. As such, you’ll demonstrate strong communication and influencing skills at a senior level, as well as excellent collaboration and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

      In addition, you’ll ideally bring experience with merchant acquiring, or financial services, with an understanding of merchant solutions, including acquiring, open banking payment gateways, API`s POS, SaaS companies or financial services.

      You’ll also need:

      • Proven experience in partner relationship management, preferably within the tech industry and with a focus on independent software vendors and SaaS
      • To be results driven, with the ability to deliver strategies that meet financial and organisational goals
      • Experience of structuring and leading complex service or partnership negotiations
      • To be comfortable with the pace of change and adaptability to market conditions
      • A good level of financial acumen, with the capability to translate complex solutions into clear language
