Gym Supervisor - King Street Townhouse Hotel and Spa

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Gym Supervisor to join us at King Street Townhouse Spa & Gym.

We are looking for a talented, passionate individual to join our team and create memorable guest experiences. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standard of professionalism in all areas of operation and carrying out all duties to our world-class standards.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the fitness industry. Qualified up to a minimum Level 2 Fitness Instructor or Level 3 Personal Trainer First aid trained Must have a passion for exceeding expectations by delivering exceptional standards. Flexibility and the ability to adapt where required. Excellent product knowledge, and ability to discover upselling opportunities. Attributes:

Oversee the general operations of the gym floor. Upsell and drive forward the MyProtein Brand and retail offering. Be the first point of call for the Gym Team. Play a key and inspiring role in coaching members throughout the 4-week plan. Motivate, coach, and energise members throughout each session delivered. Build and maintain your class attendance to help retain current members. Handle member concerns when necessary.

Responsible for Gym floor operations ensuring the highest level of maintenance of all fitness equipment, including daily gym checks, studio preparation, and fault reporting. Ensure the team is aware of the cleanliness and sanitation standards. Maintain the team's knowledge of product safety and ensure the relevant precautions are always followed. Educating the team members about the policies and procedures unique to the property. Ensuring the team members are familiar with the property's layout and the location of the supplies required throughout their working day. Attend monthly fitness staff meetings and training days when required. Delivering personalised inductions to groups of up to 4. Provide a presence on the gym floor and be available at all times to assist members with their exercise programmes and ensure that they are using the equipment correctly. Qualified up to a minimum Level 2 Fitness Instructor or Level 3 Personal Trainer. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Prescription and delivery of exercise programmes to all guests. Evidence of continued self-development in fitness. Flexible in your approach, and can work on a scheduled rota.
