About the Role...

As a Wellness Center Supervisor at The Gym Group, you will assist the General Manager in the effective operation of the facility and will take charge in their absence. You will have a passion for fitness and a desire to engage with our members and teams while fostering our culture. You will exemplify our company values and encourage others to do the same.

Your primary responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
  • Overseeing member engagement by leading our in-facility service offerings to enhance member satisfaction.
  • Managing and leading our team of fitness trainers, motivating them to excel daily while embodying the gym's values.
  • Taking charge of our Group Exercise program by developing the class schedule and enhancing the team's delivery skills.
  • Adopting a results-oriented mindset with a strong interest in boosting the gym's commercial performance.
  • Ensuring high operational standards are maintained through effective management of cleaning and maintenance procedures, including liaising with third-party suppliers.
  • Guaranteeing compliance with company Health & Safety policies and completing necessary checks regularly.
  • Assisting the GM with administrative tasks, including scheduling, time tracking, and security checks.
  • Acting as a keyholder for the facility in support of the GM, serving as a point of contact in emergencies.
  • Providing personal training services within your working hours, managing your own schedule and retaining 100% of your earnings without an annual license fee.

  • Hold a Level 2 qualification as a Fitness Instructor or are currently pursuing this qualification.
