Reporting to the Divisional Director, as General Manager, you'll focus on delivering outstanding guest care in a branded environment while boosting the commercial performance of our hotel. You'll immerse yourself in the local corporate market, leveraging your knowledge to achieve sales in a competitive landscape. Maximising occupancy, driving food and beverage growth, and ensuring exceptional guest journeys are key elements of your role. THE HOTEL
Hotel Indigo Cardiff, is a 4-star upscale boutique hotel, boasting 122 unique and authentic bedrooms inspired by Cardiff's local surroundings, history, and culture, a fully equipped fitness suite and recently re-branded restaurant. Since its opening in 2017, it has become a favourite among corporate, leisure, and transient guest. What we value most in this hotel and its team is their distinctive personality, and that’s exactly what we seek in our next General Manager.
A TASTE OF LEFEL 6 – THE RESTAURANT RE-BRAND
Situated on the top floor, the newly rebranded restaurant, Lefel 6, offers a stylish and unique dining experience. This restaurant presents an excellent opportunity to boost F&B revenue and leave a lasting impression in the heart of Cardiff. With its international cuisine and stunning roof terrace city views, Lefel 6 is the perfect spot for enjoying food and drinks.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Drive sales and revenue growth by developing a deep understanding of the local tourist & corporate market. Lead and inspire a vibrant, creative team across all departments to achieve exceptional performance in profit, people, and RGI. Conduct daily /weekly operations meetings with all department heads to ensure high levels of communication is upkept across the property. Serve as an ambassador for the guest journey, ensuring brand values and service behaviours are consistently delivered. Maximise revenue and manage occupancy effectively. Champion the new Lefel 6 restaurant, driving growth in food and beverage offerings. Coordinate and assist with guest satisfaction and guest resolutions.WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE
Experienced General Manager (this is not a first-time appointment). Background in branded hotels. Strong sales & revenue management experience. Personality above all - a creative individual who can inspire and lead our amazing team.RECRUITMENT PROCESS
