Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Risk and Controls Assurance Analyst to join our team at Legal & General. As a leading financial services organisation, we're committed to delivering exceptional results and creating a positive impact for our customers and society.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide proactive risk management advice to various teams working on Retail Annuities, ensuring compliance with current regulations and identifying potential risks.
  • Review, challenge, and advise on operational, enterprise, conduct, and financial risks, creating audit packs for monitoring the business and presenting these to senior managers.
  • Work closely with 1st line operational, product, and proposition teams to ensure that any changes are compliant with current regulations.
  • Attend workshops and training events to stay up-to-date with current regulations and future changes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • We're looking for a risk professional or someone with a background in risk-based change, with a strong understanding of operational, enterprise, conduct, and/or financial risks.
  • Ideal candidates will have some financial services experience and knowledge of GDPR and/or Financial Crime.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to question and provide constructive advice.
