JOB PROFILE:

Supports the business in a strategic and hands-on role assisting in creating a high-performing organization and people experience. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively with front-line managers and employees globally across a wide variety of topics in a rapidly scaling environment.

As the HR Shared Services Manager, you will have the responsibility for reviewing HR transactional processes and leading the progression of the function and broadening the scope of services provided into the shared services model.  

This role will report directly to the Sr. Manager, HR Shared Services and provide day-to-day leadership to 2 direct reports in the EMEA region, with the possibility of managing more as we grow.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the regional HR Shared Services Team and manage their performance, ensuring exceptional service delivery and customer service. 
  • Support, develop and train local HRSS team on systems and processes.  Serve as an escalation point to resolve complex issues for team members. 
  • Partner with HR Operations Leadership to roll-out programs and tools consistent with the business and cultures of the company.  
  • Partner in the development and implementation of both new and/or changes to HR programs, tools and services. 
  • Consult with key stakeholders and HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to understand business needs, undertake the implementation of key programs and support the improvement process.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: LOCATION:
  • This position will be located at our office in London, UK.  Only local candidates will be considered. 
KNOWLEDGE:
  • Bachelorâs degree and/or 5+ years experience in HRSS, with 1-2 years managing a team. 
  • Strong working knowledge and understanding of regional HR legislation / employment laws, principles, policies and procedures. 
  • Strong working knowledge of HR Technology, preferably Workday (HCM) and ServiceNow, is highly desirable.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong project management skills and proven organizational skills.
  • Excellent collaboration skills - comfort managing up and across the organization, with strong credibility and ability to influence leaders and team. 
  • Ability to manage workload and projects across different time zones. 
  • Has an opinion on current and future work matters - thinks, plans and executes resourcefully. 
  • Ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures for continuous process improvement.
  • Not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get in the weeds.
