A newly created HR Manager role has been created to provide a professional, efficient and effective Human Resources service across the organisation in accordance with agreed policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation; maintainingconfidentiality and high professional standards at all times. They are looking for an experienced HR Manager with proven expertise to lead, direct, support and give professional advice to this growing organisation split over two sites in central London.

Ideally you would be based on site but some flexibility is available.

**HRM Main Responsibilities**:

- Lead and provide advice to staff regarding Employee Relations issues.
- Develop statistical data to provide performance indicators in relation to absence data, retention data and recruitment data in order to improve value for money, staff retention and wellbeing.
- Maintain and develop a log of HR policies and procedures and ensure policies requiring review are drafted in line with current best practice and statutory requirements.
- Process statutory returns e.g. Workforce Census, Pension Returns.
- Organise support for the senior leadership teams to ensure efficient monitoring of absences and carrying out return to work interviews.
- Oversee the full recruitment process ensuring all the policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Co-ordinate all matters related to payroll and pensions, ensuring accuracy, compliance and appropriate approval at all stages.
- Co-ordinate the annual performance appraisal and undertake reviews of job descriptions and person specifications for admin staff, as agreed.
- **Develop and supervise the HR Assistant**

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Significant demonstrable practical experience of managing a wide range of complex employment issues with breadth and depth of activity.
- Excellent employment law and generalist HR knowledge.
- Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience of managing the recruitment function.
- Payroll experience.
- Able to articulate strategic risk and reward in business/organisational impact terms.
- Excellent communication skills to share complex information effectively and tactfully at all levels to deal with sensitive matters.
- Proficient in IT programmes, essentially an advanced working knowledge of MS Teams/Outlook, Word and Excel.
- CIPD Certificate in Human Resource Management (either studying towards or attained) or equivalent
