Enfield Council are looking for a Social Care Assessor to join their MASH Team.

The Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub is a critical frontline service and an integrated team of partnership agencies that consists of Social Work practitioners, Social Care Assessors, Occupational Therapists, Police, Health, London Fire Brigade, London Ambulance Service etc. which share information to improve decision-making whenever there are concerns about an adult at risk.

You will be required to demonstrate a person-centred approach to your work, good understanding of the Care Act (2014) and the London Multi-Agency Adult Safeguarding Procedures.

Good IT skills are essential.

Successful applicants will be committed to working as part of a team, to providing quality services that promote principles of empowerment to support adults at risk, their carers, and advocates to achieve their outcomes.

You will be required to use assessment, judgement, and decision-making skills with a focus on supporting the adult to manage risk and identify need for support and assistance.

Knowledge of safeguarding procedures, current legislation and government initiatives will be beneficial to the role; also, a willingness to look forward and explore new and creative ways of working.
